Do you charge sales tax?
Creative Invites and Events is located in Cincinnati, Ohio so we charge Ohio Sales Tax to anything we ship within Ohio.
Is it safe to charge my order to my credit card?
We do not store your credit card information on our servers and our website is encrypted to protect any information you share with us. We will never sell your information to a third party and you have to opt in to any newsletters or other communication with Creative Invites and Events that is outside of processing your order. Your card will be charged once your order is placed and if we do not receive an email confirmation on your digital proof within 45 days we will refund your purchase minus a $125 design fee and any other customization charges. Our order process is a 50% retainer to begin working on your design and the remaining balance is charged two weeks before we print. If you are expediting your order (less than two weeks to print) then the whole balance will be due at that time.
What type of payment do you accept?
Creative Invites and Events accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
How do you ship my order?
We are able to ship to addresses within the United States. For orders under $100 we ship USPS First Class. Ground shipping via FedEx or UPS is available for $10.00, 2 Day is $25.00, and Overnight is $45.00. We are not able to ship to PO Boxes and we may need extra verification if you are shipping to an address that is not associated with the credit card you are using. You will be sent a tracking number once your stationery has shipped.
I need my invitations earlier than that, is there any way to rush the order?
If you would like you can approve your digital proof and we can send your order to the printer for a rush fee of $90.00 Overnight shipping is available for $45.
Can I order from outside the continental US?
Sorry, at this time we do not take international orders.
How long after my order will I get my invitations?
You will receive a digital proof of your design within 3 business days of your order. Your digital proof is to approve layout and text. If you would like a hardcopy sent to you in the mail you can request one at no extra charge. Your hardcopy is to approve paper and color. Once you have approved your digital proof to print it will take 5-7 business days to ship. You will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number once your stationery has been mailed.
I haven’t received my invitations?
Please check the tracking number to see if Fed Ex or USPS has delivered your package. If they have not please contact us at 513.748.0235.
What is your ordering process?
When you submit your order one of our design specialists will review and develop your design. Within 1-3 business days of your order you will receive a digital proof by email. Please send us any updates to your design and we will update your proof until you are satisfied with your order, 10 (ten) digital proofs are included in your price and additional proofs will be $10 per digital proof. You can then request a physical proof once your digital proof has been approved. One printed proof is included with your order and additional proofs are $10.00. Once you have approved your digital proof to print it will take 5-7 business days to ship. You will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number once your stationery has been mailed.
Is there a minimum number of cards to order?
Our printed products and labels are available in quantities of 20.
Has my order shipped?
To check the status of your order please click on “My Account” at the top of this page and you can view your order. Your designer will send you an email with your tracking number once your order is shipped. Please check your spam filters in case your email provider did not let the Creative Invites and Events email go into your inbox.
How do I place an order online? If I am having troubles ordering what should I do?
To place an order, browse designs and then follow the personalization steps to complete your order. If you are having troubles with the ordering process or have questions please call us at 513.748.0125 and our design specialists will be happy to help. If you would like to view our stationery collection in person and live near Cincinnati, Ohio please call to set up your one-on-one appointment with one of our designers. Skype appointments are available to our friends outside of Cincinnati and you can set up your personal appointment by calling our studio.
I have a large order, can I get a discount?
If you are looking for invitation suites over 500 please contact us at 513.748.0235 and we will happy to assist you with a large quantity discount for your order.
Can I send you a personal crest to use in my order?
We uphold legal rights to photographers and authors of images. To use a copyrighted image in your order you need to request a signed copyright release for your records. We take copyright indemnification seriously at Creative Invites and Events and the purchaser agrees by placing an order that they have gotten the proper permission to use the image, clip art or photo in your design. You agree that you will not hold Creative Invites and Events responsible for any costs, attorney’s fees, expenses or court judgements resulting from claims or lawsuits made against Creative Invites and Events for grounds that claim work produces violates any copyright or proprietary right of any person or entity.

What files types can I send you?
We accept jpeg, jpg, tif, tiff, gif and png files. We will not accept files over 10MB and your photos should be at least 500kb. Please make sure you send hi-res images so that your image quality is not distorted. Preferably your images would be 5x7 at 300 DPI.
How do I send you my photos?
Once your order is placed you can email them to your designer. If you would like us to photo correct your images (remove blemishes, under eye circles) we can do that as well for $25 per photo, per revision. Please let us know what you would like us to touch up your photo when you talk with your designer.
Can I send you a photo from a photographer to use in my order?

CHANGES & CANCELLATION
I need to update or change my order, how do I do this?
You can make changes to shipping, updates to text, and design, and change your order quantity up until you approve your proof. All requests must be emailed to your designer. You have until the proof is approved to make updates. Fees may apply to excessive changes to the order, but we do our best to keep your cost to what was quoted.
Once you approve your order to print we are no longer able to change any part of your order.
I found a different photo I want to use in my order. Can I update this?
You may change the photo once and then there is a $15 fee for each photo after that.
What happens if I cancel my order before I get my proof?
If you decide to cancel your order before our designers send you a proof we will happily refund your purchase price minus $50.00 processing fee.
Can I cancel my order after I get my proof?
Once a proof has been sent there will be a $50.00 processing fee charged as well as a $125.00 design fee plus charge of any customization you requested (billed at $75/hour in 15 minute increments). Please call us at 513.748.0235 so we can assist you in canceling your order.
CANCELLATION POLICY/ RETURN POLICY
We know you are going to love your stationery from Creative Invites and Events, but if you are not 100% satisfied contact our customer service agents to initiate an exchange or return. Returns are subject to cancellation and customization fees and we cannot refund shipping and rush fees. Due to the personalized nature of our products if the error on a product is due to customer input, typos and layout mistakes we are unable to accept returns, please check your digital proofs carefully to avoid errors. Of course, if it is Creative Invites and Events error we will expedite a reprint or refund immediately. If you choose a refund we will need to have the order returned in its original packaging so we can control the quality of our products. We will pay for shipping as well as issue a refund as soon as the shipment is received.

Do I have to give you my information to order online?
We respect your privacy and promise that we do not sell your information to third parties or send you emails unless you opt in to receive them. Your information will only be used to process your order unless you ask us to send you other information or sign up for our monthly newsletter.

How do I place an order with Creative Invites and Events?
Using the Stationery Creator to make unique invitations is fun and easy. Select the stationery type you'd like to make or order a la carte. Then star the designs you like and you will guided how to lay your design out on the invitation grid. Our simple process will take you through selecting wording and fonts. Once your order is placed your designer will send you a Needs List and a Timeline to complete your order. With our years of experience we are here to make this a fun and easy process.
